Standing Sinks - Standing sinks are normally used usually in backrooms where you will do dishes, washing your bigger pots and pans. One Compartment Sinks - One compartment sinks are primarily refferenced when you are talking about a utility sink, however one compartment sinks and hands sinks can be used interchangebly when talking about a one compartment hand sink. Most of the time when people talk about hand sinks they are usually talking about a one bowl sink, however sometimes they can also be refferencing a two bowl hand sink. On our site we have a seperate section for two bowl sinks. There are a different kinds of hand sinks that can be used for hand washing and utility sinks. We carry dropin hand sinks, standing hand sinks and wall mount hand sinks. When it comes to the kind of hand sink you need, it usually depends on space usage and health size requirements more than health department regulations of the type.. wall mount.. etc.. The best way to choose your hand sink is to first check with the health departments requirements then figure out what size and type would best work with in your style and size of your restaurant or coffee shop space. Almost all of our sinks are NSF approved which usually means it will be approved by the health department as long as you are abiding by the standards they have set.
These standing stainless steel one compartment restaurant sinks with no drainboards have a 18x18 bowl size and are NSF approved. These restaurant sinks are perfect for kitchen utility purposes, food prep and hand washing. This model of restaurant sink is classified as SSP's SE Series which are the least expensive restaurant sinks SSP manufacturers. It is an 18 gauge steel sink, with the tubs welded together. There is virtually no space between the sinks. TOP & BOWLS are constructed of 18 gauge 304 stainless steel with an 1-1/2" raised-rolled edge, 2" tall, on front and both ends. Bowl is 14" deep. BACKSPLASH is 10" tall, from the deck, with a 2" return at 45° and 3/4" clip-up to the wall. Includes (2) 1" holes punched on 8" centers.
